Garryn Way designs and develops innovative data-driven software solutions for clients with special requirements that are not met by off-the-shelf products.  These solutions are generally developed with Alpha Five (a trademark of Alpha Software www.alphasoftware.com ), which is a very powerful data-driven rapid application development tool.

Company background

Garryn Way was founded by Garry M Flanigan.   He is a consultant offering a broad range of business advisory services to organisations seeking improved performance.

Garry graduated from Monash University with a B. Eng (Mechanical) with honours. He started his career as a project engineer and has worked in chemical processing and manufacturing industries. He moved into management more than 20 years ago, gaining much experience as Manufacturing Manager in one company before taking the position of General Manager/Managing Director of the Australian division of a world-leading multi-national manufacturer. This division was a consistent high performer in areas such as quality, productivity and profitability.

Garry has achieved significant gains in profitability for various companies due to improvements in production planning, stock control, capacity planning, production efficiency, quality control, equipment maintenance, customer service, information systems and business administration.  He is quick to recognise problems and implement solutions.

This background inspires all of the innovative products and custom applications developed by Garryn Way. The company motto comes from the saying 'work smarter, not harder' and the company name from doing things in a new and productive 'way'.
